There is a Sherlock Holmes Museum in the little town of Meiringen, Switzerland with the non-Germanic address of ... 221B Baker Street.

Meringen is near Interlochen's lakes and mountains and inspired Doyle, during his many trips there, on how Professor Moriarity would kill Holmes off.
