An underground, Victorian icehouse has turned up. It's well preserved but access seems to have been handled in an odd manner. HERE'S the story.
Americans aren't aware of how many buried, stone or brick chambers are waiting to be found on this side of the Atlantic. I remember three cases, just in the county where I lived in Pennsylvania. Most people didn't think of icehouses, or beer cellars, or whatever, though. Find one here, and you suddenly have a major mystery with massive public speculation.
