Interesting... but a little palid compared to performances before the shot at Sarajevo destroyed the British Empire (IMHO again).
To illustrate the difference, try Clara Butt's 1912 performance of "Land of hope and glory". It's available somewhere on the net, but if you can't find it, let me know -- I'll sent you a copy.
